Thomas J. Noonan, a longtime resident of Stoughton and Moultonborough, NH, died Friday, April 20th on his 61 birthday. He was the Beloved Husband of Christine G. (Letowski) Noonan. Born in Boston, he was a graduate of Boston English High School. Mr. Noonan worked for State Street Bank in Quincy, in the Technology and Asset Management Department for over 15 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, San Salvador Council #200 in Stoughton for many years, where he served as the Past Grand Knight and on many of their boards. Mr. Noonan was a former coach for Stoughton Little League and STOYAC Basketball.
In his free time, he enjoyed traveling, sports, cooking, cowboy cookouts, spending time at his vacation home in New Hampshire and most especially the company of his loving family and friends.
In addition to his wife Christine, he is survived by his mother Frances (Londergan) Noonan of Dorchester and his two devoted children Michelle A. Horner of Maynard and Sean T. Noonan of Easton. He also leaves his sister Joan Noonan of Boston and brother John R. “Jack” Noonan of Weymouth and his mother in law Charlotte Letowski of Stoughton. Mr. Noonan was the uncle of Craig Letowski and John Noonan. He was a very special “Grampie” of Baker and Samuel Noonan and Sarah Horner.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, April 24 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 5-8 PM. Donations in Tom’s name may be made to Xaverian Brothers High School Scholarship Fund, 800 Clapboardtree Street, Westwood, 02090. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
