Worcester—Beatrice (Paloulian) Toromanian, 85, died Thursday, April 19, 2007, in UMass Memorial Hospital. Her husband of 57 years, Neshan “Nish” Toromanian, died in 2004. She leaves two daughters, Marcia Toromanian of S. Dennis, and Brenda Khederian and her husband, John, of Waltham; three sisters, Pearl Arakelian and her husband Cookie, Bernice Kachadorian, and June Bogoian and her husband George; two grandchildren, Melanie and Marc Khederian; and many loving and caring nieces and nephews. She also leaves many longtime friends. Beatrice was born in Worcester, daughter of Michael and Rose (Lalaian) Paloulian. She was a member of Armenian Church of Our Saviour and was also active in the Holy Trinity Armenian Church. She worked for the David Clark Co. 22 years. Beatrice was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, sister-in-law and friend. Her passion was Armenian cooking and sharing it with everyone.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 23, from Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street with a service at 11:00 in the Armenian Church of Our Saviour. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
