Theodore A. Poreda, 60, of Derry, NH, died Friday, April 13, 2007 in his home. Mr. Poreda was born in Springfield, MA on April 10, 1947, a son of the late Theodore J. and Helen (Harlambakis) Poreda. He was a resident of Derry for over 30 years, formerly living in Enfield, CT. Mr. Poreda was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam era. He was employed at Walmart in Bedford, NH, and was also a self-employed electronics technician. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go camping.
He is survived by his sister, Kathryn E. McAleer and her husband John of Modena, NY; three nephews; and two great nieces.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
