Obituary

WEBSTER – Jennie (Kus) Jurgelewicz, 86, of 15 Grenier Avenue, died Tuesday, April 17, in the Transitional Care Unit at Hubbard Regional Hospital. Her husband of 43 years, Joseph P. Jurgelewicz, died in 1988.

She leaves two daughters, Judith A. Jurgelewicz, with whom she lived, and Christine, wife of Bernard Moisan of Millbury; a sister, Helen Laganelli of Worcester; a brother, Edwin Kus and his wife Rita of Webster; three grandchildren, John Moisan and his wife Nicole of Leicester, Lisa Allen and her husband Robert of Trumbull, CT, and Jennifer D’Entremont and her husband John of Webster; 4 great grandchildren, Samuel Allen, Grace and Jack D’Entremont, and Victor Moisan; nieces and nephews.

She was born in Lawrence, the daughter of Anthony and Stefania (Ujek) Kus. She was raised and lived in Webster all of her life.

Mrs. Jurgelewicz was a stitcher at Bentley Shoe Company for several years before retiring in 1969. She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica.
The funeral will be held Saturday, April 21, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours are from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, April 20, in the funeral home.
