HOLDEN-Ann C. (Kelliher) O’Connor, 77, of Holden, formerly of Paxton died Sunday, April 15th, surrounded by her loving family. Her husband, James A. O’Connor, Jr., died in 1994. She leaves 3 daughters, Kelly Ann Allyn and her husband William of Holyoke, Kathleen M. O’Connor and her husband Thomas Cooney of Rutland and Erin T. Connor and her husband Patrick of Hampton, NH; a sister, Eileen White of Holden; a sister in law, MaryEllen Donoghue of Worcester; and 6 grandchildren, Erin, Conor, Emma, Molly, Finn and Thomas.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Dennis F. and Ann R. (Melkunas) Kelliher and graduated from Classical High School, Boston College, Worcester State College and Worcester Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. Ann worked as a nurse at several area facilities. She was a member of St. John’s Church and a former member of St. Columba Church.
The funeral is Thursday, April 19th, from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in St. John’s Church, 40 Temple Street, Worcester. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. A calling hour is from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. Thursday in the funeral home.
