Ernest L. Jackson formerly of Danvers and Dedham died in Bonita Springs, FL, on April 13, 2007. He was 77. He was the beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Strople) Jackson and the beloved partner of Lois (Massarelli) Driscoll of Walpole and her children and grandchildren.
Mr. Jackson was born in Newton, MA and was the son of the late Ernest and Josephine (Steano) Jackson. A Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army, he was a member of the Dedham American Legion Post 18 and the VFW Post 10097 in Fort Myers, FL.
He was the father of Randy Jackson and his wife Kim of Lewiston, ME and the late Robert Jackson. He is also survived by two grandchildren. He was the brother of Florence Woods of Danvers.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Friday at 8:00 AM. Funeral mass in St. Susanna’s Church, Dedham, at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Thursday form 4-8 PM. Interment in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
