WEBSTER-Julius J. Kasala, 94 died Saturday, November 8th in Hubbard Hospital. He leaves his wife, Dorothy T. Kasala; a son, Edward J. Kasala of Pittsfield a brother, Joseph Ekasala of FL; a sister, Patricia Stramkauskus of Worcester, 5 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was born in Nashua, NH the son of Joseph E. and Katie (Kaziekories) Ekasala and has lived in Millbury for many years then moved to Southboro for 19 years and most recently lived in Webster. Mr. Kasala was an inspector at the former New England High Carbon Wire Company in Millbury for 17 years retiring in 1973. He previously worked as an inspector for the former Millbury Thread Company. He enjoyed square dancing, golfing, and woodworking.
The funeral will be Tuesday, November 12th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a mass at 10:00 AM in St. John’s Church, 40 Temple Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be Monday, November 11th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home
