Obituary

Funeral services will be held on Sunday for Samuel Kramer, 76, a resident of Wilmington, & formerly of Chelsea & Everett. Mr. Kramer died at home on April 12, 2007.

Born in Chelsea, the son of the late Hyman & Anna (Levine) Kramer, Mr. Kramer was raised & educated in Chelsea & graduated from Chelsea High School. He was inducted into the United States Marine Corps on March 21, 1952 in Boston & served honorably during the Korean Conflict, attaining the rank of Corporal prior to his honorable discharge on March 20, 1954 in Washington, D.C. Upon returning from military service, Mr. Kramer began his career with the United States Postal Service at the South Postal Annex. He will be remembered as a very kind & generous man.

Husband of the late Kathleen “Katie” (Delroy) Kramer, he is survived by his beloved daughter, Robyn MacLaughlin & her husband Thomas of Wilmington; & his brother Edward Kramer of Chelmsford.

Funeral services will be held in the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave. (Cary Sq) CHELSEA on Sunday, April 15, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park, Fuller St. Everett. Donations in Mr. Kramer’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 9 Riverside Rd. Weston, MA 02493.
