DATELINE: WORCESTER- Rolande M (Belisle) Marin 89 of 1 Stratfield Street died November 8th in Saint Vincent Hospital at Worcester medical Center.
Her husband of fifty one years Paul R Marin Sr. died in 1997. Mrs.Marin is survived by a son Paul R Marin Jr. of Tucson Arizona, and a daughter Paulette M Marin of Santa Fe New Mexico. She also leaves a brother Silvio L Belisle of Webster, seven grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A sister Religious Sister Adrienne Belisle of Littleton New Hampshire died in 2000.She was born in Worcester a daughter of Nazarie and Marie (Chabonneau) Belisle and was a lifelong resident of Worcester.
A graduate of the former Holy Family High School, she attended the former Becker Junior College and Anna Maria College.
Mrs. Marin worked for 9 years as a Bookkeeper in the Payroll Department of the former Melville Shoe Company later Thom McAn, retiring in 1977.
Mrs. Marin is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and a former member of Saint Jospehs Parish in Worcester. She had been a member of Cercle Jeanne Mance and the American Association of Retired Persons.
The funeral will be held Tuesday November 12th from Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home with a Mass at 10am in Our Lady of Lourdes Church 1290 Grafton Street Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.Calling hours at the funeral home will be from 6 to 8pm on Monday November 11.
