DATELINE-Worcester- Isabel Miskinis 93 formerly of 19 Whitney Street died November 8 in Salisbury Nursing and Rehabilitation center.
Her husband of 46 years John Miskinis died in 1974. She is survived by a daughter Elaine I Sweeney of Worcester, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She also leaves several nieces and nephews in Lithuania. Three sons John J Miskinis of Hampton Beach New Hampshire, Edmund Miskinis and William Miskinis both of Worcester predeceased her.Mrs. Miskinis was born in Worcester a daughter of Stanley and Elizabeth (Alukas) Saulevich and moved to Lithuania as a child, returning to Worcester at the age of 21, she lived here for the rest of her life. She was educated in Lithuania.
A longtime member of Our Lady of Vilna Parish, she was also a member of The American Lithuanian Roman Catholic Womans Alliance.
The funeral will be held tomorrow (Monday) November 11th from Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward Street with a Mass at 10am in Our Lady of Vilna Church 151 Sterling St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.Calling hours at the funeral home are today Sunday November 10 from 6 to 8pm.
