Obituary

DUDLEY – William A. Plotczyk, 94, of 15 Dalessandro Ave., died Wednesday, April 11, at home after an illness. His wife of 50 years, Josephine E. (Zukowski) Plotczyk, died in 1994.

He leaves 2 sons, Walter Plotczyk and his wife Martha of Palm Desert, CA, and Robert Plotczyk and his wife Joyce of Dudley; 2 sisters, Nellie Galonek of Dudley and Jennie Dziedzic of Webster; 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

He was born in Webster, a son of John and Julia (Ziemba) Plotczyk, and lived in Dudley most of his life.

He worked as a cable strander at the former U.S. Steel Company in Worcester for 30 years, retiring in 1972. He was a member of St. Andrew Bobola Church and the U.S. Steel Retirees Club, Worcester Chapter.

The funeral will be held Saturday, April 14, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster, with a Mass at 11:30 AM in St. Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. Calling hours are from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, April 13, in the funeral home.
