Harlon E. Johnson, 65, of Tifton died Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2007, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Burial will follow in Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 12, 2007, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Johnson was born on September 25, 1941 in Opp, Alabama and was the son of Chester Johnson and Lorene Harpe Johnson, both deceased. He was a supervisor with Dixie Oil Company and a member of Ty Ty Baptist Church in Ty Ty.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Beverly Knighton Johnson of Ocilla; one son, Keith Johnson of Danville; one daughter, Jami Johnson Yost of Bartow, Florida; one sister, Jeanette Weeks of Ashford, Alabama; and seven grandchildren, Breyer Johnson, Courtney Cagel, Hope Bowen, Wyatt Bowen, Colby Johnson, Barron Oglesby, Danielle Yost.
