Pearl Mary Rose (Gagnon) Bourdeau, 74, of 22 Bowers St. Lowell died Friday April 6th at the D’Youville Senior Care with her family by her side.
She was born November 3, 1932 in Lowell, Massachusetts the daughter of the late Wilfred and Rose (Fleury) Gagnon.
Mrs. Bourdeau was educated through the Lowell elementary schools and later received her GED from Middlesex Community College. She continued to take courses furthering her education.
She worked in the mid 80’s at St Rita’s rectory and also babysat for the Halko families for 20 years which was a job she loved very much.
She was a communicant of St Michael’s Church in Lowell.
Mrs. Bourdeau is survived by two sons, Steven Robert Findley of Exeter, N.H.; Gerard Henry Findley and his wife Betty Ann of Dracut, a daughter, Sheila Tines and her husband Tyrone of Lowell; a grandchild, Shane Findley of Exeter, N.H.; a brother, Henry Gagnon and his wife Shirley of Indiana, a sister, Fleurette “Flo” Farinato and her husband Donald of Tewksbury; two sisters in law, Janet Gagnon of Yarmouth,Ma., and Patricia Gagnon of Tyngsboro; also many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bourdeau was pre-deceased by her brothers, Roger and Robert Gagnon.
Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell, on Monday, April 9th from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9pm. Funeral Tuesday morning with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 o'clock at St Michael’s Church, Lowell. Interment will be private.
