Young and his wife Paulette of Attleboro; Robert W. Young of Tennessee and William N. Young and his wife Kathy of Brockton. Grandmother of 17 and great grandmother of 19.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday 5-8 pm.

Margaret H. (O’Shea) Young 86 years of Brockton died Friday at the Goddard Rehabilitation and Nursing Center after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Harry W. Young.
Mrs. Young was born in Lynn a daughter of the late Frank J. and Helen A. (Barber) O’Shea and she moved to Brockton as a young girl with her family. Following her graduation from Brockton High School she stayed home to raise her family of five children. After her family was grown, she attended Southeastern Regional Vocational School and graduated as a licensed practical nurse. She worked as an LPN at the Brockton and Cardinal Cushing Hospitals and Brockton VA Medical Center, retiring in 1984. After her retirement Mrs. Young attended Massasoit Community College graduating with an Associate Degree in social services. She then attended Bridgewater State College and graduated with a BS degree in social work at the age of 73.
In her free time she enjoyed reading and learning.
Mrs. Young was a member of NARFE (National Association of Retired Federal Employees) and several nursing associations.
She had been a communicant of Lour Lady of Lourdes Church.
In addition to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren she leaves a cousin Tom McGee, former State Speaker of the House now of Florida and several nieces and nephews
She was the grandmother of the late Lisa Young and Doreen Young.
