
Lucia B. (Macione) Padula 88 of Franklin died April 6 in her home. She was the wife of the late Domenic M. Padula who died in 1991.
Born in Westerly, Rhode Island on February 12, 1919, the daughter of the late Domenic and Mary Rose (LeVanti) Macione, Mrs.Padula had lived in Franklin for most of her life.
A homemaker, she loved to cook and bake.
She is survived by her sons, Anthony Padula of Franklin, Robert Padula of Cary, North Carolina, her daughters, Paula Meyers of Jacksonville, Florida and Marie Kenerson of Plainville. She was the mother of the late Domenic Padula and sister of the late Frank, Anthony, Paul and John Macione.
She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 11 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main St. in Franklin at 8:15 followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Church Square, Franklin at 9:00 a.m.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.
