Katrina O'Quinn, 67, of Tifton passed away Friday, April 6,2007 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be hald at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2007, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Larry Daughtrey will officiate with burial to follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cementery. Steve Edenfield, Donnie Yancey, John Rodriguez, Nathan Gossford, Abner Kee, Joseph Lee and Lee Adams will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 8, 2007 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. O'Quinn was born July 7, 1939 in Louisville, Kentucky and was the daughter of Gilbert "Slim" Hazelwood and Hessie Calahan Hazelwood, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by one son Donnie O'Quinn. She was retired from Avondale Mills and of the Baptist faith.
Ms. O'Quinn in survived by five sons and one daughter-in-law; Derrick and Rhonda Yancey of Sale City, Tim Martin of Waycross, John John O'Quinn of Tifton, Joey Martin of Tifton, and John Carlos Rodriguez of Tifton; three daughters, Ramona Carona of Tifton and Takaisha O'Quinn of Tifton, and Linda Lee of Louisville, Kentucky; one brother, Butch Hazelwood of Louisville, Kentucky; two sisters, Louise Stout of Louisville, Kentucky and Anna Mae Serrell of Louisville, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
