Mrs. Bessie C. Taillon Fennessey, 84, of 21 Winter Street, Berlin, NH passed away on Wednesday April 4, 2007 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin surrounded by family. She was born in Bunkie, LA on October 23, 1922 and had lived in Berlin since the early 1940’s. She was a member of St. Kieran Church , now known as Good Shepherd Parish, and the St. Kieran Altar Guild. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Members of the family include 1 daughter Brenda Couture and husband Arthur (Sonny) of Berlin, NH; 1 son Daniel Taillon and his wife Jacqueline of Gorham, NH; 4 grandchildren Diana Lachapelle and her husband Paul, Shawn Couture, Mark Taillon and his wife Gretchen, and Lisa Pike and her husband Allan; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 brother Ashton Wilks of Dallas, TX; her husband George Fennessey’s sons Arthur Fennessey and Earl Fennessey; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband Joseph Taillon and her second husband George Fennessey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday April 10, 2007 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin on Monday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
