Lillian V. (Sullivan) Tilley, 84, died Saturday, March 31 at the Milton Hospital in Milton. She was the wife of the late Eugene Tilley. Born in Mattapan, she was raised in Mattapan and a graduate of Boston Schools. Mrs. Tilley worked as the office manager for Boston Elevator Co in Boston for over 40 years. She retired at age 73. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, knitting, reading, playing cards and spending time with her family. She was an avid fan of the Red Sox.
Mrs. Tilley was the mother of Virginia F. “Gini” Bulger of Easton, Robert E. Tilley of Maine, formerly of Bridgewater, Kevin R. Tilley of Milton and the late Richard Tilley. She was the sister of the late Richard Sullivan and Frances Gavin and is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, April 4 at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:15 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 3-7 PM. Burial will take place at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree. Donations in Lillian’s name may be made to the Lillian V.
