New Bedford-Donald “Doug” Ventura aged 52 years died Saturday March 31st at St. Luke’s Hospital after a brief illness. He was the loving husband of Margaret Mary (Bolton) Ventura of Fairhaven. He was the step-father of Eric Paul Storoy and his wife Ann of Montana, Krista Jean Storoy of Illinois, and Aaron Matthew Storoy and his wife Savetri of Colorado. He has 3 grandchildren Ty Nathan Storoy, Brieanna Marie Storoy, and Jamera Elise Storoy. He is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Mr. Ventura was the loved son of the late Evelyn Ventura. He was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all his life. He was a fisherman with several fishing vessels out of Fairhaven.
In accordance with his wishes he was cremated. Burial will be Private at the request of the family.
