Obituary

DRACUT-Pantellis L. “Paul” Neofotistos, 67, loving husband and father, a life long resident of Dracut, died surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 31st in Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved husband of Faith (Delazanos) Neofotistos with whom he was married for 42 years.

He was born on May 19, 1939 in Lowell, a son of the late Louis and the late Anna (Kleros) Neofotistos.

Mr. Neofotistos was a well known local businessman and from a large well known family.

He was a member of the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity and a supporter of the Hellenic American Greek School.

In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson. Mr. Neofotistos also enjoyed traveling and gardening.

In addition to his wife he is also survived by three daughters, Bette P. Neofotistos of Dracut, Anna P. Doney and her husband William of Lowell and Andronike P. Neofotistos and her fiancé Gary Richardson of Dracut; his grandson, William George Doney of Lowell, two brothers, Christopher Neofotistos and his wife Aphrodite of Dracut and Steve Neofotistos and his wife Angela of Dracut; sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Sophia and Peter Cakounes of Dracut, Elaine and Spiro Vrouhas of Chelmsford, Georgia Neofotistos of Dracut, Helen Neofotistos of Tyngsboro, Charles Booras of Dracut and Dan Angelopoulos of Danvers; many nephews and nieces; great nephews and great nieces, cousins and friends.

He was also the brother of the late George, the late Constantine, the late Peter, the late Dr. Anthony, the late Socrates, the late Nicholas Neofotistos and the late Mary Booras, the late Anastasia Neofotistos and the late Andronike Angelopoulos and the son-in-law of the late George and the late Bessie (Helas) Delazanos.

Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. His funeral will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday at 8:30 AM followed by his Funeral Service at 10 AM at the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity in Lowell. Burial in Westlawn Cemetery in Lowell. Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be made in his name to Massachusetts General Hospital, Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, Ellison 9, 32 Fruit Street, Boston, MA 02114.
