James Michael Johnson , age 42, MS died at his home in Water Valley on Saturday morning March 31, 2007. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Water Valley.
Visitation will be held on Sunday evening April 1, 2007 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and funeral services will be held in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks on Monday, April 2, 2007 at 2:00 pm. Brother David Freeman will officiate the service and burial will follow in Shipp Cemetery in Lafayette County, MS.
Mike is survived by his wife Vickie Wade Johnson of Water Valley; daughter April Johnson, sons Brian and James Michael Johnson all of Water Valley, MS; sisters, Barbara Tynon of Puyallup, WA, Ellen Bucci of Joliet, IL, Doris “Dee” Fowler of Banner, MS, Linda Morgan of Richland, MO, Carol Reiman of Phillipsburg, MO and Kathy Tartt of Pope, MS; brothers, Jack Johnson of Paris, MS, Billy Johnson of Oxford, MS and Victor Johnson of Paris, MS; mother Francis Kappes of Water Valley, MS and three grandchildren.
Preceding Mr. Johnson in death was his father Jack Johnson ( Nov. 3, 2005).
