Loretta Aucoin, 83, formerly of Center St., Bellingham, died Friday at Mt. St. Francis Health Center in Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Arthur Aucoin.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late David and Velantine (Garree) Riquier.
Mrs. Aucoin worked for the French Worsted Co. in Woonsocket for over 30 years. She was a devoted wife and mother, and cherished spending time with her children and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Steven D. Aucoin, and her loving daughter-in-law, Edith Aucoin. She was the sister of Henri Riquier, of Bellingham, Helene Benjamin, of Woonsocket, and the late Lionel Riquier. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be Wednesday at 9:00 am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa’s Church, Rathbun St. Blackstone.
