Josephine Ingianni, 69 of Medford, died Thursday after a long illness.
Born in Italy, she lived in Medford since 1974 and formerly of the North End of Boston. Josephine was the daughter of the late Giovanna (Maltese) and Antonino Gerardi. Josephine was a Chef at St. Stephen Church in Boston’s North End for 14 years and also was a Health Aid for Homemakers Health Inc. for 5 years. Josephine was known as a wonderful mother and cook.
Beloved wife of Joseph Ingianni. Devoted mother of Tony Ingianni of Stoneham, Robert Ingianni of Saugus, and John Ingianni of Medford. Also survived by 5 loving grandchildren. Sister of Antonino Gerardi of Peabody, Vito Gerardi of Malden, and the late Franco Gerardi.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Stephen Church, Hanover St., Boston, at 10:30 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Sunday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
