Tiverton, RI - Constance H. (Wilbur) Thornsbury, 69, of Tiverton, RI passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of 44 years to Robert L. Thornsbury.
Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Hervey M. and Emeline (Snell) Wilbur, she was a lifelong resident of Tiverton. A 1955 graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, she graduated from Union Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse in 1958. She was regarded as a hard working individual working for 54 years from the age of 15 years old until the age of 69 years old. Mrs. Thornsbury was a registered nurse at Union Hospital from 1958 - 1974, and continued to work in the nursing field at various nursing homes and at Corrigan Mental Health Hospital until she retired from the nursing profession in 1995. She continued to work part time at Shaw’s Supermarket in Fall River from 1995 until she recently left due to illness. She was a member of the Bliss Four corners Congregational Church, Tiverton, RI. She enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends.
Including her husband, she is survived by 2 daughters: Beth L. Motta and her husband James of Tiverton and Diane C. Trabert and her husband Charles of Tiverton; a brother: Donald F. Wilbur of Tiverton; a granddaughter: Shae C. Trabert; and many nieces and nephews.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be Sunday, April 1, 2007 at the Potter Funeral Home at 12:00 P.M.

Interment in Pleasant View Cemetery, Tiverton, RI.
