Maria de Lourdes Correia, 46, died Monday, March 26 unexpectedly at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after suffering from injuries due to a fall. She was the beloved daughter of Leopoldina (Borges) Correia of Stoughton and the late Manuel Correia. Born in Faial, Azores, Portugal, she lived in Stoughton since 1968. Ms. Correia was disabled. She attended the Habilitation Center in Easton. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her siblings: Mary Jo de Melo of Stoughton, Ilda M. Andrade and Eddie Correia both of FL. She was predeceased by her father Manuel Correia. She is also survived by 6 nieces, 3 nephews and many cousins.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday March 31 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton.
