William R. Valentine, 59, of Salem, NH died Sunday March 25th at his home. He had been a Salem resident for 31 years.
Bill was born in Medford, MA and grew up and was educated in Wakefield, MA. He attended Wentworth College and received his Electrical Engineering Degree and his MBA from Northeastern University.
Bill was Sr. Programs Manager for SI2 Technologies in Billerica, MA. He was on the Salem Conservation Commission and was the Treasurer and Canoe Trip Leader for the Merrimack River Watershed Council. Bill was also a member of the Business Honor Society and a ham radio operator with the call sign K1WV. He loved kayaking, canoeing, skiing, camping, traveling, driving to the ocean, fishing, genealogy and music.
Bill was predeceased by his mother Rita (Donnelly) Valentine and his brother Donald Valentine.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. A Funeral Service will be Friday at 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home.
