Barbara (Brown) Keesan of Hopkinton, formerly of Sharon and Newton died on Sunday March 25 at the Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation in Milford. She was 72 years old. Born in Boston, Barbara grew up in Newton and was a graduate of Newton High School. She was a member of the south shore area Sweet Adeline’s. Barbara will always be remembered for her love and devotion to her family. The beloved wife of the late Stanley H. Keesan, she was the loving mother of Andrew H.Keesan and his wife Jessica of Hopkinton. Barbara was the sister of the late Beverly Allen, Larry and Ronnie Brown and the dear grandmother of Matthew and Abigail Baer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at the Newton Cemetery Chapel, 791 Walnut St. Newton on Thursday March 29 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham (Exit 19B off Rte 128) on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Interment at Newton Cemetery.
