Louis Andon, 90 of Somerville formerly of the West End of Boston, died Friday after a brief illness in the Massachusetts General Hospital Boston.
Born in Albania, he was the son of the late Vangell and Lena (Dimitri) Andon. Louis was a Maintenance Mechanic employed by the former Norton Company in Newton for 15 years and retired in 1977. He also served in the U.S. Navy during WW II from 1943 to 1945.
Beloved husband of the late Violet (Elia). Devoted father of Linda Andon-Vranos, and Gary Andon both of Somerville, Robert Andon and his wife Donna of Malden. Loving grandfather of Alexander and Peter Andon. Brother of the late Sotir Andon.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 10 AM followed by a service in St. John the Baptist Albanian Orthodox Church, 410 West Broadway, South Boston at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
