Obituary

BOSTON: Barbara A. (Adams) Kunze, age 74, a resident of the Jamaica Plain area of Boston for the past 11 years, died Monday, March 19, 2007 at the Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jamaica Plain.
Born in Boston on October 17, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Royce E. and Mary G. (Peterson) Adams.
Ms. Kunze was raised in Malden, attended Malden schools and graduated from Malden High School in 1950.
She resided in Malden for more than 40 years until moving to Jamaica Plain in 1996.
Ms. Kunze previously attended the Malden Baptist Church and was a member of the church choir.
She enjoyed knitting, music and vacationing with her family in Maine and Cape Cod.
She is survived by one daughter, Beverly Kunze and her partner Kathleen McCabe of the Roslindale section of Boston; one son, Douglas W. Kunze and his wife Sandra (Spiller) of Tewksbury; one sister, Alice Southworth and her husband Robert Southworth, M.D. of Defiance, OH; her former husband, R. Walter Kunze of Tewksbury; also many nieces and nephews. Ms. Kunze was the sister of the late Mary Prescott, Laura Goodwin and Edward Adams.
Calling hours Friday, March 23rd, from 5-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral service Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression, 60 Cutter Mill Rd., # 204, Great Neck, NY 11021 (www.narsad.org) or to the Armenia Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr, 431 Pond St., Boston, MA 02130 are requested.
