WORCESTER___Marie L. (Desrosiers) Tyan, 85, of Worcester, died Sunday March 18 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center. Her husband, Paul E. Tyan died in 1989.
She leaves a son, Edward J. Tyan of Worcester; a daughter, Paula A. Tyan of Worcester; three granddaughters, Heather M., Victoria L., and Ashley E., three sisters, Marion Tetreault and Hazel Tetreault both of Worcester and Margaret Barrus in Maine and several nieces and nephews. Marie was born in Worcester, a daughter of George And Ethel (Briere) Desrosiers and lived here all her life.
Mrs. Tyan worked 17 years for the housekeeping dept. of the former Worcester City Hospital. She retired many years ago.
The funeral will be held on Thursday March 22 with a service at 11:00 a.m. in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Thursday March 22 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
