Obituary

WORCESTER___Michael J. Trigiano, 83, formerly of 11 Lake Avenue, died Friday, March 16 in The Blaire House of Worcester, 116 Houghton Street. His wife, Gertrude T. (Bouley) Trigiano died in 1989.

He leaves five sons, Gerald D., Michael J., Robert W., Wayne J., and Brian A., two daughters, Jenny Healy and Diane LeBlanc, a brother ,George Trigiano, six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Sam Trigiano and four sisters, Rae Blaisdell, Mary Trigiano, Julie Trigiano and Anne Campbell. He was born in Worcester, a son of Giuseppi and Giovannina Trigiano.

Mr. Trigiano worked as a custodian and a security worker for the City of Worcester at Worcester City Hall retiring in 1989. He received a Key to the City from former Mayor Jordan Levy for his years of service. He served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard and was a former Deputy Sheriff. He was a member of the “11 Lake Ave Poker Club.” He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Church. Michael enjoyed cooking and classic movies, as well as fishing and camping. He also sang with groups in the city.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday March 21, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 35 Hamilton Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
