Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 11 am. Funeral Mass in St. Colman Church at 12 noon. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 2:30 pm. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-5 pm.
Obituary
Mr. Kostka died Friday morning at the Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Queens, New York, son of the late Darrell and Josephine (Prado) Kostka. Resident of Brockton most of his life. Before his retirement in 1992 he was a maintenance supervisor at Eastern Edison for many years. During the Korean Conflicthe served in the US Army and received several service medals.
For many years Mr. Kostka coached in the Brockton Downey Little League and he also enjoyed landscaping.
Survived by his wife of 48 years, Alice C. (Daversa) Kostka a daughter Lynne M. Dennis of Richmond, VA and a son Daniel E. Kostka of Dennis, 3 grandsons, and a granddaughter, a brother Donald E. Kostka of Naples, FL and several nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Harry KostkaServices as above
