Obituary

AUBURN-Henry R. Kruczek, 71 of 6 Betty Street died Wednesday, October 30th at home after a battle with Lou Gehrig’s disease. He leaves his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth A. (Jackman) Kruczek; his mother, Statia (Lawendowski) Kruczek of Worcester; 2 sons, Ronald R. Kruczek of Brookfield and Charles H. Kruczek of Worcester; 2 daughters, Elizabeth Moreau of Worcester and Kathleen Soucie of Cherry Valley; 2 brothers, Richard Kruczek of Madison, AL and Thomas Kruczek of New Mexico; 3 sisters, Frances Lemanski of Spencer, Barbara Wyrzyowski of Grafton and Elaine Kopcinski of Sutton; 11 grandchildren and a great granddaughter; nephews and nieces.

He was born in Worcester the son of Frank Kruczek and has lived in Auburn for 49 years. He graduated from Boys Trade School, where he was an outstanding athlete in football and baseball, he also graduated from Worcester Junior College. Mr. Kruczek was employed as a design engineer at Raytheon Company for 35 years before retiring. He was a member of North American Martyrs Church. He was a navy veteran.

After cremation, a celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family. O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
