Francesco Tortora, 92 of Somerville died Wednesday in the Anne Mark Nursing Home Revere, after a brief illness.
Born in Italy, he was the son of the late Guilio and Maria (DiPinto) Tortora. Mr. Tortora lived in Somerville since 1958.
Beloved husband of Isabella (Pedone). Devoted father of Guilio Tortora of Stoneham, Sergio Tortora of Wareham, Mauro Tortora of Somerville, Maria Pellegrini of Lynnfield, Ippolita Frisiello and John Tortora both of Saugus. Also survived by 21 loving grandchildren and 16 loving great grandchildren.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Catherine Of Genoa Church, 179 Summer St., Somerville, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 9.
Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
