Angela (Giorgio) DiBattista, 69, of Marco Island, FL, Sandwich, and Dedham, died March 9, 2007 in Sandwich with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Americo "Turk" DiBattista.
Mrs. DiBattista was born in Boston and was the daughter of the late Minotti & Anna (Camaratta) Giorgio. She was a longtime resident of Dedham and spent many years between Sandwich and Marco Island, FL. She worked as a hostess for Rossi’s restaurant for several years. Angela leaves many life long friends who were a big part of her life from Florida, Cape Cod and Dedham.
She was the stepmother of Paul DiBattista and his wife Ann of Franklin and Jeanne Ianetti of Revere. She was the grandmother of Derek and Brittney DiBattista, and Anna Marie, Sonia and Anthony Ianetti. She was the sister of Mary Jo Morales and her husband Robert. She was the aunt of Joanmarie Heustis, Debbie Lafleur and her husband Paul, and Paul Morales and his wife Teresa.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons, Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St, Dedham, Monday at 8:00 AM. Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, Dedham, at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Sunday 2-8 PM. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
