Worcester—Paul F. Johnson, 91, passed away Friday, March 2, 2007. His wife, Helen (Shliapa) Johnson died in 1976. He is survived by his son Stanley W. Johnson and his wife Christine of Worcester, his daughter Lois A. Gorman and her husband Peter of Auburn, and his brother Allen W. Johnson of Worcester. A brother, Waldo predeceased him.
He was born in Charlton, son of Otto F. and Jane A. (Johanson) Johnson. During WWII he worked at Harrington Richardson as a final inspector of gun sights on large bore caliber weapons and then at John Bath Tap and Die as a machinist and a tool & die maker, and then went on to work as a welder at B & J Welding in Auburn.
