Elvira (Bradshaw) Thibeault, age 89, of West Mystic, formerly of Sisk Drive, Pawcatuck, passed away Thursday at Westerly Hospital.
Mrs. Thibeault was born in West Mystic on January 4, 1918 the daughter of Edward T. and Louise B. Foster Bradshaw.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a clerk at the former Palau’s Rexall Drug Store and Mystic Pharmacy for over 20 years before retiring. She was a member of Union Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Henry A. Thibeault; daughter & son-in-law Carolyn and Tom Tetlow of West Mystic, son and daughter-in-law Robert H. and Carla Thibeault of Albany, GA, grandson Tom Tetlow III and his wife Kim of VA., grandson Christopher Tetlow and his wife Elizabeth of Griswold, granddaughter Elizabeth Marion Tetlow of Mystic, granddaughter LaNia Dowdy and her husband Mike of Albany, Ga, grandson Robert Lawrence Thibeault of SC., 6 great-grandchildren, Cody, Jordan Nicole, Kylie Grace, Blaine & Cortney, and Jordan Scott; two siblings, Edward K. Bradshaw and Lillian Gatchek, and sister-in-law Catherine Bradshaw, all of Mystic, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two siblings, Earl Bradshaw and Barbara Cropper.
Her family will greet relatives and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Tuesday from 5-7pm. Her Funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11am. The Rev. Dr. G. Kenneth Carpenter, will officiate. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
