Juliette Y. “Julie” Isabelle, 87, of Manchester died March 6, 2007 at Villa Crest Healthcare Center after a period of declining health.
Born in Manchester on December 28, 1919, she was the daughter of Romeo and Jeanne (Laliberte) Belcourt. She attended local schools and was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
She worked at Pigeon’s Pharmacy and various area mills, including Stephen Spinning and Modutek. She also worked as a waitress at the Chateau Restaurant for many years.
Mrs. Isabelle enjoyed playing cards with family and friends of Les Coeurs Joyeux. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting, was a voracious reader and enjoyed long late night phone conversations with her many friends.
She was a communicant of St. Anthony Church.
She was predeceased her husband, Arthur Isabelle in 1987 and by a son, Raymond Isabelle in 1968.
IN HER LIFE: The family includes two daughters, Constance Fitzgerald and her husband Dan of Meredith and Boca Raton, FL and Jeanne Tancrede and her husband Harve of Manchester; a granddaughter, Danielle Longo and her husband Kevin of Manchester and a great granddaughter, Maya Isabelle Longo of Manchester.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday March 10, 2007 at St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester. Burial was at St. Augustin Cemetery, Manchester.
