Kenneth D. “Kenny” Parker, 68, of Fitzgerald died Tuesday, March 6, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Thursday, March 8 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Rev. Clayton Dowd officiating. Interment will follow in Reedy Branch Cemetery, Coffee County. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Parker was born February 14, 1939, in Coffee County to Litt Parker and the late Alene Rish Parker. He served in the United States Coast Guard during the Korean War Era. Mr. Parker moved to Fitzgerald fifteen years ago from Savannah, where he worked in the Savannah Shipyards and for Diamond Construction. He was a former employee of the Coffee County Road Department and Rainbow Irrigation in Fitzgerald. Mr. Parker was a member of the Ocilla Church Of God.
Mr. Parker is survived by his wife: Linda Parker of Fitzgerald; father: Litt Parker of Savannah; brother and sister-in-law: Glenn & Jane Parker of Pembroke.
