Obituary

Worcester--Richard C. Ullstrom, 76, died Monday, March 5, 2007, in UMass University Hospital. He leaves his wife, Nancy C. (Peterson) Ullstrom; a son, Mark A. Ullstrom and his wife Karen of West Boylston; two daughters, Sharon L. and her husband Richard Jerome of Worcester and Lori A. and her husband James Chew of Holden; six grandchildren, Joshua and Allison Chew, Jennifer and Christopher Jerome, and Erik and Emma Ullstrom; a great-grandson, Quentin Chew; an aunt, Essie Penniman of Charlton; cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Roger. Richard was born in Worcester, son of Iver and Evelyn (Morris) Ullstrom. He was employed as a printer and was a Korean U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, woodworking, and was an avid reader.

Funeral services will be held at NORDGREN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 300 Lincoln Street, Thursday, March 8, at 11:00 a.m. A calling hour will be held at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery.
