OBIT Manchester-Roger R. April, 78, died March 1, 2007 at the Elliot Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born in Nashua, on July 29, 1928 the son of Ernest and Emma (Landry) April and had been a resident of Manchester for many years.
He served in the US Army. Prior to his retirement he had been employed as a shoe cutter for J.F. McElwain Shoe Co.
Members of his family include his wife, Simonne (Cormier) April of Manchester, one daughter Mrs. Gerald (France) Sullivan of Manchester, two nieces three nephews and several cousins.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 6 pm at the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
Funeral will be Monday at 6 pm following calling hours. Burial will be in NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen at a later date.
