METHUEN – Rita B. (Baggett) Kleponis age 91 died peacefully Saturday morning February 24, 2007 at Nevin’s Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre in Methuen, MA with her loving family by her bedside.
Born and eduated in Lawrence, MA, she graduated from St. Mary’s High School. For many years she was an assembler at Western Electric, now Lucent Technologies in North Andover, MA. She attended St. Laurence O’Toole Church in Lawrence prior to its closing, and was a parishioner of St. Lucy’s Church in Methuen and as a a Catholic she had a strong devotion to the Blessed Mother. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crosswords, playing bingo, gardening and spending time with her family.
The widow of Alfons B. Kleponis where she was a devoted wife until his passing 2 years ago, she leaves her 2 loving daughters Joanne R. Morrow and her husbad John D. of Andover, MA and Maureen K. Brown ad her husband David A. of Nashua, NH.
1 sister Margaret Szostak of Northborough, MA.
3 brothers James Baggett of Wolcott CT, William Baggett of Salem, NH and Francis Baggett of Windham, NH.
4 grandchildren, John D. Morrow, Jr of Lexington, NC, Maureen Poirier of Methuen, MA, Michael J. Morrow of Chicago, IL and Kevin J. Brown of Nashua, NH, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces ad nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Memorials can be made to The Marians of the Immaculate Conception, Association of Marian Helpers, Stockbridge, MA 01263 or to the Nevins Centre 10 Ingalls Court Methuen, MA 01844. Family and friends may call on Monday from 5:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00a.m. at St. Lucy’s Church in Methuen, MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
