Mrs. Jewell Elaine Barrineau Aspinwall, 79, of Cartersville died February 21, 2007.
Funeral services will be held 10 AM, Friday, February 23 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Cartersville, with Rev. Charles Ivey officiating. Interment will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, February 24 at Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends from 4-6 Thursday afternoon at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Mrs. Aspinwall was born March 5, 1927, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Reid and Millie Fletcher Barrineau. She was a nurse for many years and returned to school in 1970, receiving her BSN from Gordon College in Barnesville. Mrs. Aspinwall was a member of Atco Baptist Church.
Mrs. Aspinwall is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steve & Lisa Morgan Aspinwall of Cartersville; brothers, Cecil Barrineau and Billy Barrineau both of Fitzgerald, Raymond Barrineau of North Augusta, SC, Edwin Barrineau of Jacksonville, Fl, Emory Barrineau of Tallahassee, FL and Pete Barrineau of Douglas; sisters, Martha Boggus of Fitzgerald and Margaret Scott of North Augusta, SC; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Aspinwall and two sisters, Elizabeth Deaton and Hazel Yancey.
