Obituary

Brother William “Peter” Allison was born December 13, 1947, in Madison County to the late James and Fannie Allison.

Peter confessed hope in Christ at an early age. He later joined the A’s Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, under the leadership of Elder Bobby Battle.

On Thursday, November 23, 2006 at 10:05 a.m., Peter passed from life to death in Lorain, Ohio, at the local hospital. God whispered into one of His children’s ear and told Peter it’s time to come home. It’s time, you have completed your journey. Come to rest my child, where there is no more weeping, suffering or pain. Now you are one of my protectors.

He leaves a cherished memory to his wife, Pamela Allison; three stepchildren: Brittney, Dominque, and Brenton Cottle, all of Lorain, Ohio; three grandchildren: Brenaé, Elijah, and Kiki; one brother, Bobby Allison; four sisters: Debbie (Rickey) Pettus, Lucy Betts, Shelia (Larry) Baker, and Carla (Corey) Jones; two uncles: Howard Allison of Dayton, Ohio and John Hammonds of Huntsville, Alabama; three aunts: Annie Roper, Lucille Hammonds of Huntsville, Alabama, and Jessie Mea Goynes of Chicago, Illionis; close and special niece and nephew: Gregory and Keyonna Allison; close and special friends: Louise Johnson, Patsy Allison, Lillian Brown, and Robert Derrick; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
