Albert T. Puopolo Sr., age 77 of Medford MA, died Tuesday in the New England Medical Center Boston after a brief illness.
Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Carmine and Maria (Rossi) Puopolo. He served in the Army during the Korean War from 10/27/1950 to 10/17/1952, reenlisted in the Army reserve and was discharged Nov. 27, 1956.
He was as a Fork Lift Operator, employed by A & P Food of Somerville, MA for many years, retiring in 1975.
He is survived by his wife Gloria (Lanzilla) Puopolo of Medford. Son Albert T. Puopolo Jr. of Somerville, daughter Maria Galante of Tewksbury. Loving grandfather of Nicole & Angela Puopolo. Brother of Frances Puopolo of Medford and the late Angelina Flammia, Tony, Rocco, Sam, and Joseph Puopolo.Funeral service and interment are private.
