Cassandra Karpinski
AUBURN, NH– Cassandra Karpinski, 20, died suddenly on February 12, 2007 from heart failure while studying abroad in London.
She was born in Manchester, NH on May 11, 1986, the daughter of John and Victoria R. Karpinski and was raised in Auburn, NH.

IN HER LIFE: After attending Auburn Village School, Cassandra furthered her education at Pinkerton Academy where she was a four-year honor student in the National Honors Society in her junior and senior years. Participating in band for four years, Cassandra was band president in her senior year and an All State clarinetist. As a multitalented student in the arts, Cassandra was the schools jazz pianist and participated in pit band in school musicals as well as acting on stage. She also played the organ at St. Peter’s Church. Cassandra was also a member of the ski club for three years and took a school trip to Italy.
Cassandra brought her beautiful personality to Ithaca College where she aspired to be a journalist and work in television and movie production enrolled in the Park School. In her college community, Cassandra was involved with the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, was a Residential Assistant, and wrote articles for the school newspaper, the Ithacan.
This past semester, Cassandra continued her studies, interning for Peace News in London writing on disarmament issues.

Family members include her father John Karpinski, of Auburn, 2 sisters Olivia and Andrea Karpinski, both of Auburn, her maternal grandmother Rosa C.L. Rodrigues, 2 aunts, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her mother Victoria R. Karpinski on November 22, 2006.

SERVICES: Calling hours are Sunday February 18th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. open casket and a closed casket viewing from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday February 19th from 9:00 to 10:30am at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St., Manchester, NH. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Peter Church in Auburn, NH.
Burial will follow in Auburn Village Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, in care of CHAD Program Cardiac Unit, Office of Development, 1 Medical Drive, Lebanon 03756.
