Obituary


Mr. Louis J. Zervas of Andover, beloved husband of the late Georgia P. (Petrakos) Zervas, died at his daughter’s home in Essex Junction, Vermont, on Monday February 12, 2007. He was 80 years old.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on December 12, 1926, he was the beloved son of the late James and Sarah (Houliaris) Zervas. Mr. Zervas was a US Navy Veteran, serving in WWII. He was an avid sailor and loved to travel in his RV with his dog, Charlie. During his working career, Mr. Zervas was an Advertising Director for DeMoulas Supermarkets, for many years.
Mr. Zervas will be sorely missed by his loving daughter and son-in-law; Karen and her husband, Jack Nee of Essex Junction, Vermont, two grandsons; Zachary and Patrick Nee, one sister; Dee Laprade of Poughkeepsie, New York and several nieces and nephews, including, Joanne Sattley of Wakefield.
Many relatives and friends gathered at the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, at 10 AM on Saturday, February 17, 2007, and attended a graveside service in St. Mary Cemetery, North Tewksbury. Calling hours were Friday, February 16, 2007, from 4 to 8 PM.
