Alice L. (Maguire) Tobin, 95, died Tuesday at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Thomas F. Tobin. Born in Boston and raised in Dorchester, she was a graduate of Boston Schools. Mrs. Tobin was a resident of Quincy for many years and had lived at Emmanuel House in Brockton since 2000. She worked as a Comptometer Operator for many years for several Boston based companies. An avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and Bobby Doerr, in her free time she enjoyed music, playing piano, singing and shopping.
She is survived by her children: George R. Tobin of FL and Denise M. Colby of NH. She was the cherished Grandmother of Lenore Micciche and Jessica Handrahan both of Taunton and is also survived by 3 great grandsons and 3 great granddaughters.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton, on Friday at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior to service from 10-11 AM. Donations in Alice's memory may be made to the Charity Guild, POB 2372, Brockton, 02305-2372. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
