WEBSTER – Frances (Pavuk) Aptacy, 81, formerly of Hall St., died Monday, February 12, in Lanessa Extended Care Facility. Her husband, Francis J. Aptacy, died in 1997.
She leaves a brother, Andrew Pavuk of Webster; 2 sisters, Margaret Duszlak of Burlington, North Carolina and Rose Defilippo of Webster; nieces and nephews.
She was born in Rossiter, PA, the daughter of George and Mary (Wacko) Pavuk, and lived here most of her life.
Mrs. Aptacy was a cementer at Webster Shoe Company for 10 years and then at Sandlerette Footwear Co. for 20 years before she retired in 1975.
She was a member of St. Joseph Basilica.
A memorial Mass will be held in the spring. Burial will be private. Donations in her name may be made to St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St., Webster, MA 01570. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street.
