Edward E. Coffin of Stoneham, formerly of Middleton passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Life Care Center in Stoneham. He was 80 years of age.
Born in Manchester by the Sea, Edward was the dear son of the late Edward Coffin and Dorothy (Gorman) Coffin. Edward was a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be sadly missed.
Edward was a dedicated supervisor for Sylvania Corporation for many years. He was a proud US Navy Veteran of World War II. Edward loved his family. They were first and foremost in his life.
Edward was the beloved husband of Maureen Harold Coffin. He was the devoted father of Cheryl Lee Silva of Peabody, Jacqueline Anne Archer of Newburyport, Bruce E. Coffin of Pembroke, New Hampshire, Christopher J. Harold of Williamsburg and Gregg S. Harold of Watertown. He was the cherished grandfather of 6 and the dear brother of Alice Clinch and Priscilla Dzierzek, both of Danvers and James Coffin of Middleton.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Tuesday from 4-8pm with an open Eulogy Service beginning at 8pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants will be on duty.
